Alexandra joined Taussig Cherrie Fildes in 2017 and was admitted to practice in March 2018, practicing exclusively in the area of family law.

Bio

As a family lawyer, Alexandra’s goal is to provide client-focused practical results in an understanding manner.

Alexandra’s experience includes parenting matters comprising allegations of parental alienation, family violence and risk to children.

She has also been involved in a number of high net worth matters and matters involving overseas assets and business interests. She is dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for her clients.

After obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Psychology in 2015 and graduating from Deakin University with a Law/Arts degree (majoring in psychology) in 2014, Alexandra applies this knowledge to assist in the analysis of family reports, particularly in intricate parenting matters. She supports her clients in a sensitive and understanding manner while providing clear and precise advice.

In addition to achieving resolutions for clients in a cost-effective manner, Alexandra has conducted a number of matters to trial in the  Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and has participated in private mediations and settlement conferences.

As a member of the Junior Family Lawyers Working Group (LIV), Alexandra liaises closely with like-minded junior lawyers to organise social and educational events, including seminars with Judges and barristers, with the intention of forming collegiality and growth among junior practitioners. She also attends regular continuing legal education and mentoring sessions with senior lawyers of Taussig Cherrie Fildes.
